Steven Garner

With over ten years of audio engineering experience in post production and music alike, Steven brings a level of professionalism and knowledge that's not normally obtained at his price point. Using high fidelity recording equipment coupled with his effortless approach, Steven gives his clients a true sense of confidence even when working together for the first time.   • Neve 1073 EQ - Mono (Great for any genre and all mono signals, especially vocals; Adds a clean and open sound; I use it most for pop and RnB vocals)

  • Avalon VT 737sp channel strip - Mono  (Great on hip-hop and RnB vocals; Adds brightness to any signal; I use it most for hip-hop, pop, and RnB vocals)

  • LA610 Mk2 channel strip - Mono (Great for soul, jazz, and RnB; Adds warmth to any signal; I use it most for traditional music, but it can add a unique aspect to contemporary genres)

  • SSLxr618 compressor - Mono & Stereo(Great for rock, pop, and hip-hop, especially for gluing a drum track together; Adds coloration by driving compressors harder; I use it most for pop)

  • Custom Vintage Magnecorder tape machine [converted to pre-amp] - Mono (Great for jazz and soul; Adds a smooth sound, a little warmth, and coloration; I use it most for traditional music)

  • ISA430 channel strip - Mono (Great for pop and world music; Adds a clean sound; I use it most for pop vocals and world music)

  • EL8 Distressor compressor - Mono (Great for any genre; Adds a nice warmth or an aggressive crunch; I use it most for bass guitars)

  • Elysia Xpressor compressor - Stereo (Great for any genre; Adds a very clean sound; I use it most for drum buss and mix buss)

  • T.C. Electronic Finalizer 96k mastering processor - Stereo (Great for any genre; Adds a clean sound and character and helps shape the master signal; I use it most for drum buss and in the mastering stages)

  • TA-1vp analog Antares Auto-tune - Mono (Great for any genre; Adds pitch correction and different microphone modeling such as tube, condenser or dynamic; I use it most for when I want to get a little more character out of a T-Pain auto-tune sound)

  • SSL Sigma Analog summing mixer – Mono & Stereo (Great for any genre, Adds warmth and separation; I use it most for consolidating a mix)
